The CHS Speech & Drama Team made it back from the State meet. Senior Abigail Stewart, in her first year of competition, placed 2nd in Dramatic Oral Interpretation out of 20 strong competitors 🎉🥳. Senior Cohen Sample, in only his second meet of the year 😯, made it all the way to the semi-finals round for the Impromtue Speech event. And, our team mascot "Dinomite" stood in for our dearly missed team mate Cecilia Bell. Coach Lili Briggs led a small but strong team to represent Colstrip. Way to go Colts!

DISTRICT UPDATE: For transparency and informational purposes the District would like to inform the community that trustees were notified at approximately 8:30pm that an email threat had been received. The Colstrip Police Department and the school administration were notified. No threat has been identified. We are requesting police presence throughout the day tomorrow checking on the safety of the staff and students. We take all threats seriously. Our District will remain vigilant in providing safety for our staff and students. Our technology department will monitor spam and ensure any possible emails containing fake or real threats are discovered immediately. School will be open tomorrow and will operate as normal. We know that even a hoax threat will cause concern for families, so the district will support families who choose to keep their children home tomorrow.
